Stilts and Balance Posts

Stilts and Balance Posts

Stilts and Balance Posts

Stilts and Balance Posts combine two popular play equipment pieces, encouraging children to hop between the stilts and thereby test their balance.

The equipment consists of 6 stilts and 2 balance posts. The angled stilts feature carved footrests inviting a child to hop or walk from one stilt to another. If a child feels unsure, it can find balance by holding onto the stilts. Coordination is required, and distances must be estimated, all while the child maintains balance on the posts. The Stilts and Balance Posts train a child’s motor coordination and balancing skills.

Multiple children can play on the equipment simultaneously promoting social skills, especially when they meet in the middle and need to switch sides. The balance posts at each end can be used as seats while waiting for a turn or simply taking a break during play.
